My name is Phil Khosah, and my basketball journey began when I was just four years old. From the moment I first picked up a ball, the game became a part of me—something I grew up with, lived through, and learned from every single day.
By the time I was 12, I wasn't just playing basketball—I was studying it. Hours upon hours every day, breaking down film, analyzing moves, learning footwork, and trying to understand every little detail of what makes a truly great player. Basketball has always felt like an art form to me, and I made it my mission to solve it like a puzzle: What builds the perfect basketball player?
My journey hasn't been easy. I've faced more setbacks than most players experience in a lifetime. I've torn two ACLs, dislocated my shoulder, and hit moments where the game tried to take everything away from me. But I never let any of that stop me. Every injury, every setback, every moment of doubt only strengthened the fire inside me.
Because my dream has always stayed the same: The NBA.
And I'm still chasing that dream with everything I have.
But here's the biggest thing I've learned along the way: Anyone can achieve their dreams. It doesn't matter where you start, what obstacles you face, or who doubts you. Dreams don't belong to the chosen few—they belong to those who refuse to give up. The ones who keep working when nobody is watching. The ones who believe they deserve greatness.
